About

I'm a backend and infrastructure engineer with about a decade of experience building production systems — subscription billing engines, payment integrations, and the cloud infrastructure that keeps them running. Most of that has been in Ruby on Rails, with Go and Terraform-driven AWS work taking up a bigger share of the job in recent years. I've worked across the whole stack when the problem called for it — Vue.js and TypeScript included — but backend and infrastructure is where I spend most of my time.

Tools

Most of my web development is in Ruby and Rails, backed by PostgreSQL, with Go for services where performance matters more — plus JavaScript, TypeScript, and Vue.js when the frontend needs attention. On the infrastructure side I work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform on AWS, tied together with GitHub Actions, Ansible, and some Python for scripting. I also write some Swift, mostly for small CLI tools and native apps.
